Most Friday and Saturday evenings host an act in the bar room — acoustic duos, full bands, sea shanty groups, occasional tribute nights. Music starts around 9pm and runs two sets. Free entry. See our live music page for booking enquiries and the kinds of acts we host.

Wednesday evenings, 8pm start. Teams of up to six. £2 per person — every penny goes to a nominated local Cornwall charity each month. Walk-in, no advance booking, but it does fill up so arrive by 7:45 if you want a good table.
Each summer Bar Thirty Five takes part in Bude's Sea Shanty Festival weekend. Shanty crews from across the West Country pack the bar; the courtyard becomes a singalong. Free to drop in. Dates announced in spring.
Mid-December tradition. A full evening of live music featuring some of our favourite acts of the year, plus mince pies behind the bar.
The bar's busiest night of the year. Doors are open as normal but expect a full room, late closing, a celebratory countdown, and live music or DJs into the early hours.
We mark the bar's anniversary each year with a special night — usually with a returning headline act, a charity tie-in, and a free drink for regulars.
