Halloween Party with The Crafty Butchers

Live music from The Crafty Butchers. Fancy dress encouraged, with a prize for the best costume. Free entry, over-18s only.

Sunday Sessions — paused for winter

Our Sunday afternoon acoustic sessions are off for winter and return in spring. More on the live music page.

Friday and Saturday Live Music

An act plays in the bar room, usually from 9pm. Free entry. All ages welcome, over-18s only after 9pm. Some weekends the slot goes to karaoke or a DJ instead. When there is a band, a DJ can follow. The line-up is on Facebook; see the live music page for who's played recently.

Karaoke Nights

Hosted by Double Ambition, from 9pm on some Fridays and Saturdays. Over-18s only, free entry.

DJ Nights

DJ Jellybean on the decks from 9pm on some Saturdays.

Weekday Happy Hour

Tuesday to Friday, 6–8pm, on selected cocktails and selected bottled beers only. Offers and prices are on the Happy Hour page.

Annual highlights

Annual Sea Shanty Day — Sunday 15 November

Our own event, in aid of Bude RNLI. Cousin Jack and shanty singers from across Cornwall fill the bar, and the courtyard turns into a singalong. Free to drop in.

Christmas Concert

Mid-December, a full evening of live music. Check Facebook for the date.

New Year's Eve

Doors open as normal, with live music or DJs into the early hours.

Our Birthday

The bar's anniversary night, every February, usually with a returning headline act. Check Facebook for the exact date.
