Regular schedule

• Happy Hour: Tuesday to Friday, 6–8pm. Selected cocktails and selected bottled beers only. Cocktails 2 for £15 (Sex on the Beach, Woo Woo, The ThirtyFive, Dark and Stormy, Raspberry Mojito); jugs of Mojito or Woo Woo £20; selected bottled beers 2 for £7.
• Live music: most Fridays and Saturdays, usually from around 9pm. Free entry.
• Quiz night: once a month, 7pm. £3 per person. Half the pot goes to the winning team, half to a local charity they choose.

Annual highlights

• Sea Shanty Day: Sunday 15 November 2026, in aid of Bude RNLI. Cousin Jack and shanty singers from across Cornwall.
• Christmas Concert: mid-December (date on Facebook). An evening of live music, free entry.
• New Year's Eve: late closing, a countdown, and live music or DJs.

Layout

The bar has three areas:

• The Lounge (left side): sofas, low lighting and a marble bar. Quieter, and good for cocktails.
• The Bar Room (right side): pub seating, a dartboard, sport on the TV and live music. Holds 60 seated or 100 standing.
• The Courtyard: outdoor space, fairy-lit in the evening and heated in cooler months.

Full venue capacity is 250 guests, inside and outside.

• Independent and family-run, not part of a chain.
• A cocktail lounge and a sun-trap courtyard in the middle of Bude.
• No minimum spend for walk-ins. Private hire has a minimum bar spend.
